Frequently Asked Questions

Is the touchscreen interface usable even in wet conditions?

Yes, all our smart water heaters go through a rigourous testing to ensure that they are usable in wet conditions.

How often must IntelliHeat be flushed?

IntelliHeat need not be flushed at all as our water tank is made entirely out of stainless steel which is non-corrosive.

Does a double heating element use twice as much electricity to heat water up?

No. At each water temperature level, there is a fixed amount of electricity that is passed through. In fact, with a double heating element, water is heated up twice as fast using the same amount of electricity.

Can IntelliHeat support rain showers?

Yes, but this is subjected to water pressure which depends on where you stay (e.g. HDB, landed property etc.)

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept PayPal and all major credit and debit cards. If you are using a credit card, PayPal will allow you to key in your credit card details for payment.

Currently, we only ship to addresses in Singapore.

You will receive a shipping confirmation email once your order is processed for shipping. There will be a link in the email which you can use to track the shipping status of your order.

How do I cancel my order?

As we process orders automatically, it is not possible to cancel an order between the times of placing the order and delivery. Please always contact the Trentios Customer Care Team by phone if you need to cancel your order.

How can I return my product and request a refund?

We hope you are entirely satisfied with your purchase, but if you are not satisfied with the product before installation, you may return the product to us or cancel the entitlement to services and obtain a refund of the price of the returned product, within 14 calendar days from the date of delivery of the product, provided it is unused and un-installed, in its original condition with original packaging, no missing parts, accessories or manuals. You can call us at Trentios Customer Care Hotline (65) 66340312 during our operation hours if you need to return a product.

What shall I do if the product was damaged in transit?

If the carton or contents have been damaged in transit, you can return the item(s) to us within 3 calendar days for an exchange. Please check that your order is correct at the time of delivery, make sure that the product carton is sealed and unopened. If you are unhappy with the state of delivery, please do not accept it and ask for the delivery agent to return the products to us. Call us at Trentios Customer Care Hotline (65) 66340312 during our operation hours and our team will guide you with the necessary steps.

What shall I do if the product is defective?

In the unlikely event that you have a defective product, you have the right to return it within the 14 calendar days. Please keep all the packaging materials, accessories and warranty information that accompanies your product as this may be needed should there be a defect. If you choose to return the product, call us at Trentios Customer Care Hotline (65) 66340312 during our operation hours and our team will guide you with the necessary steps.

Do you have installation service?

Once you made your purchase of Trentios Intelliheat, our customer service will call you to arrange for delivery of the heater and ask if you require installation.

Installation is chargeable at $45 per unit and it covers the REPLACEMENT of your existing water heaters only. This means that our qualified water heaters installers will remove your existing water heater. However, if you need additional installation service like re-wiring, please inform our customer service at (65) 66340312 for customized service fee quotes.

How many years warranty do you offer?

We offer 10-year warranty on the water heater’s stainless steel heating element; and 1-year warranty on all other parts.

How do I register for product warranty?

With a few mouse clicks, you can register your new product at http://www.trentios.com/support/warranty-registration/. Only one registration is required per product.
